Continuing Education
HL7 Education aims to facilitate learning that meets student and industry needs through the adoption of flexible start and finish dates, teaching delivery methods, use of technologies, sequencing of course availability and the provision of responsive and timely student support and evaluation systems.
Each potential student is able to select those modules that provide the most appropriate knowledge, skills and understanding of the 'family' of HL7 standards and associated topics relative to their prior learning/ knowledge and individual career aspirations.
Our primary focus is to provide single course/subject educational offerings to meet industry based professional staff development needs through continuing education. However the curriculum is being designed to accommodate the inclusion of these courses into mainstream IT degree programs through credit transfer. All courses on offer are approved by the HL7 Australia Academic Advisory Committee and by the Central Queensland University’s Academic Board.
